I remember when my husband and I decided to start trying for our first baby. I was over the mood excited and I couldn’t wait to see those double lines appear on that pregnancy test. If you know me by now, I am the most impatient person on the planet. I immediately started researching how I could conceive quickly. I looked at every fertility site I could get my hands on and soaked in all the information I could get.
It took 5 months of trying before I finally conceived my first daughter. The second time around I was much more educated on fertility and ended up conceiving the very first month of trying. I’d like to think that these methods helped with this result, but I’m sure there was some luck involved.
Please keep in mind that this will not work for everyone trying to conceive. These methods can boost your chances of getting pregnant, but not guarantee it.
Alrighty, here we go!
I am going to go out on a limb here and say that you are reading those post because you were invited to a baby shower and have no idea what to give as a present. Or maybe you do know, but just want to find better ideas than the clique (blankets, binkies, cute outfits, etc.). Don’t disregard those though; they come in handy for new moms and dads. However, if you want to stand out and/or give a gift that is super awesome, here are some great ideas.
Remember how thick and luscious your hair got during pregnancy? Well that is all about to fall out. Don’t be alarmed when clumps of hair start coming out a few weeks after delivery. All those raging hormones from pregnancy are gone and now your body has to compensate for it by losing the extra hair. You will not go bald though, I promise.
Disclaimer! These are wives’ tales. They are merely for fun. In reality, these predictions have a 50% chance of being right, so take it for what it is. Regardless if being accurate or not, it is certainly entertaining to see the results!
So, are you having a boy or a girl?
